Most likely the laser is not acheiving focus status resulting in ejecting the disk. Possible dust/contamination on lens of optical ass'y.
You can try: Unplug unit from wall outlet, very carefully remove cover from player, manually run optical ass'y to a position where you can access the optical lens. Using a long cotton swab lightly coated with 99% alcohol very gently clean the lens using a circular motion. Replace cover, plug the AC cord back into the wall, insert disc and see if that cures your problem.
If not, most likely you need replacement laser ass'y. Not an easy thing to do and requires special proccessor, test equipment, jig & tools.
Good luck! |
