What Resolutions do DVD Recorders record at? |
|
|
OK, I think VHS tapes have a 200 line resolution, right?
And I think SVHS tapes have something like 300 or 320 lines?
What about DVD recorders? What resolution do they record at?
Also, how many lines of resolution is the typical TV show broadcast at?

I believe at their maximum settings, they are probably SVHS or better
resolution. At their minimum, not only is it sub-VHS quality
borizontally, but the VERTICAL resolution is also reduced to 240 from
480.
