The Wharfedale 17" LCD TV, LCD1710AF, does not appear to have an onscreen
display. Has anyone who has purchased this model found this to be a
problem. Comments about its other features would be appreciated.

I hope to buy one when Argos get their new stock.

Many thanks.

Regards.

Not sure about the display, but are they still pouring sand down between
the cabinet spaces? :-)

Actually, it it should have read "onscreen menus". An "onscreen display"
would be available for tuning and adjusting the settings.

Not too sure about the sand business, though. Must look into it.

:-)

Here's a discussion about it. Looks like it's a Toshiba clone.

I went with the samsung 242MP LCD TV monitor. It is a 24 inch wide screen
with every possible type of input, an NTSC tuner, an FM tuner, speakers, a
1920 by 1200 resolution and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. About 1750 dollars out
the door. My only complaint so far is when the speakers are mounted on the
monitor rather than on the stands the one on the right does not mount as
tightly as the one on the left. I bought it primarily for a computer
monitor.

I have just brought a Wharfedale LCD1710AF, 17" LCD. Very pleased except TV switches of after 5mins. I only have SKY connected and have tried via just the SCART connector and the RF and both together.
Does anyone else have this problem?
