Are there FAQ's for this newsgroup?

Is is possible to export (in real time or DVR playback) a digital signal
from my Comcast Explorer 8000HD box? There's a USB port on the front of
this thing, and DVI out the back (which I don't use; I have a Philips CRT
using RGB). Is the DVI signal compatible with, say, Windows Movie Maker?
