I recording some of the primetime shows into mpeg format and was wondering what program or programs are best just to remove the commercials and then convert them to the DVD format to be played on a stand alone player.
Quick questions:
What format does the generic stane alone DVD players require for the movies to play?
I bought a pack of TDK DVDs and backuped a movie and throw into the player and it doesnt ever recognize that there is a disk in the player, i brought it over to my friends house who has a top of the line model and it started to play but mid way thru the movie it started to lose sound and digitize, it plays fine on the computer, any reason why?

you can remove the commercials with the program PresentaVid, but it'll do only for AVI-format. i heard that the new version will be released soon and it will support mpeg, if you video is in this format.
as for the formats for DVD players- it must be shown on the players themselves |
