Poor service and Poor Company. We tried the free month membership only
to get to watch two movies in a month. One was cracked and had to be
sent back. We canceled before the 30 days. This is when it was DVD
Barn. A year later we get a 25.00 charge from Intelliflix. I inquired
who this company was and why they charged my VISA card. They said for
the missing movie. Of course you don't get to talk to a person it is
all done over the crappy WWW site they have. I said I mailed all movies
back and over a year ago. They said sorry. So I said I will be writing
complaint letters to BBB in WPB, FL Sate Attorneys Generals Office, and
also USPS office Of Inspector General, WPB Consumer Affairs is next. I
have put in dispute with VISA on the 25.00 charge. Do not pay these
crooks, they are scamming many people out of 25.00 So start writing
letters and file complaints like I have done and eventually they will
feel the heat. By the way here is there telephone # located in WPB

Folks, in case you haven't noticed, the Intelliflix customer service reps have been trolling any website they can find which mentions their service, saying that 'all you need to do is contact customer support'. Funny how they suddenly pretend to be concerned about their customers.

My wife and I were customers and we contacted them many times. The service was horrible. A large percentage of the 60,000 titles they claim to have are not available. Yes, there's 60,000 in their database, but they don't actually carry many of them.

About half the titles we got were broken or scratched and gouged. Broken as in split, and gouged as in unplayable. we let it go for awhile but our queue started getting really backlogged. It's one thing with Netflix or Blockbuster or other rental places because they ship replacements immediately, but Intelliflix ships out-of-state so replacements take 2-3 days sometimes more. So we requested that Intelliflix send out the titles we were owed, that we would have gotten had they not sent out broken disks. After all, Intelliflix' lack of quality control isn't our fault. They ignored us.

Did I mention the long turn-around times? Lemme see: Netflix 1-day each way. Blockbuster 1-day each way. Intelliflix 2, 3, or 4 days each way and a fraction of the selection of titles they claim. All three are about the same price for a 3-at-a-time plan. Obviously there is no point to going with Intelliflix and, frankly, even if Netflix and Blockbuster didn't exist I wouldn't sign up with Intelliflix knowing what I know now.

I'm thinking of putting up a page complete with emails illustrating our troubles. But the the bottom line is, this company sucks and don't be fooled by Intelliflix CSR reps suddenly expressing interest in helping you. They didn't care when we were still customers. BTW, if you want to find out about Intelliflix, check out the Better Business Bureau or ripoffreport.com.

You can also Google "Intelliflix review", or just "Intelliflix", and also try "Intelliflix Eileen" (Eileen is the name of the customer service rep who posted here and many other review sites). Doing a Google on any of these search terms will turn up copious numbers of sites full of customer complaints about Intelliflix. My favorite is http://www.dvdrr.com/reviews/Intelliflix.html

It's a little late Eileen. Why didn't you guys show so much interest when we still were customers? If you haven't noticed from all of the dozen-or-so review sites you've posted to, you're dealing with EX-CUSTOMERS!

Ok, Eileen, I'm going to call you out on this. Why not give all the people who are complaining at these sites one or two months of Superpass service for free (you can bill us later for it if you want), with the stipulation that we do not have to provide you with any payment info until the free service period is up. The reason why I attach this stipulation is that, judging by a large percentage of the complaints I've seen about Intelliflix (dvdrr.com, ripoffreport.com, Epinions, etc.), Intelliflix keeps billing customers long after they cancel their accounts, fails to issue refunds, etc.

So, there you have it: a month of free, no-obligation service, without having to provide ANY financial or billing information. If the customer can see that you've improved, they can then provide a credit card to continue service; otherwise, the customer can walk away knowing they won't get any unpleasant surprises when they open their credit card bill. Of course, you can make this a limited-time promotion, but you'd better really improve service permanently, not just fot the promotional month.

So, Intelliflix, what do ya say to that?

I found the hypothetical Eileen on another post on another site. I wrote her as I am a current Intelliflix customer. Yep they got my money and I get few if any movies. Only one broken one but very few ever regardless of how many in my que. As I write this I have Shaggy Dog here, and returned my other two movies nearly two weeks ago. Supposedly they are sending The Usual Suspects but not another one yet. These are old movies because I have the new one's in my que but will never get them.

Oh yeah! EILEEN never wrote back. Better hurry the Superpass is extended again. What a joke. I only wish I had done my due dilligence before I sent them the money.
