I'm new to the group and this question has probably been asked. Is there a
way for me to copy a DVD for my own personal use, just in case the original
is damaged? It is copyrighted and my current program won't let me. I'm using
Windows 2K with a Sony DVD-RW, program is either Ahead Nero or Veritas
Record Now.

Not with the software you have. Just go to google groups and pick any of
the many dvd groups and do a search.
