Hey there, my question is concerning editing DIVIX footage in Final Cut Pro.
Ill give you the specs

The Video is shot on SD cards from a little spycamera. PV500

Format - DIVIX 6.0
Resolution- 320X240
Audio- 44.1 khz
Frames per Second- 25

I try using Imovie which converts it into DV causing Interpolation

I try using Final cut express which causes the same interpolation issues because of a lack of resolution customising options.

The latest belief is that by getting FCP we will be able to edit the footage in its native resolution.

BUT

Our end product is a DVD- which requires iDVD to convert the DIVIX file into whatever file iDVD uses.

Will there be the same interpolation issue?
Is there any way we can convert without this issue?
