Anyone know what Transcoder) error means? when using NERO when trying to
burn a dvd from Captured video? (VHS to hhd to dvd) I thought nero was the
best, and could read its own handwriting, so to speak.

Thanks

Transcoding is re-encoding your movie file into Mpeg2. If the file is already
Mpeg2, but a different data rate or size, by default Nero will transcode it.
What file format is the original? Sometimes Nero has problems with certain 3rd
party codecs such as Xvid, Divx, etc.

Use the Nero info tool and send the saved file to Nero Tech Support. They will
look at it and tell you what it interfering with Nero. Could be some third party
codec issue.
