hello all,

i'm capturing audio/video thru the analog output of my vcr to my ati capture
device. the trouble is that the audio/video quality is lower after capturing
than when i play the original tape and view it on my tv!!! in particular,
there's a "waviness" across the top of the screen (particularly when there's
extra light in the scene) on the captured version that isn't there when i
play the tape and view it on my tv.

i've got the latest & greatest hardware/software but am at a loss as to how
the capture can be so much lower quality than the original.

plz advise!!!!
