iPod : configuration SW |
|
|
Does anyone have any links to walkthroughs on using PC SW for organising
albums on the HD and transferring to the iPod?
In addition to showing/demoing the iPOD interface for selecting audio
tracks/playlists when not connected to a PC?
I'm thinking of using an iPOD to store a friends CDs so he can play them
in his pub with no more smoke & dirt skipping as associated with CDs.
Ease of album location is a must.

I am not sure of your exact question or that I can answer it correctly, but
I can tell you this:
My teenage son has an iPod. He uses the iTunes software from Apple
(you can get it for free).
He can organize his music in any way he likes, including the making of
playlists, etc etc. This software does not have to be used with the iTunes
download service, but it is a super interface between the iPod and your
pc.
Let me give you another hint................. Just about any question
can be asked at the forums and other links that you will find at the
following website:
www.ipodlounge.com
I hope this helps !!!

Why doesn't he use a PC?He can get one for (almost) the same money as an
ipod, and a pc is much more robust and reliable.I know a radio station here,
that uses a pc instead of the old twin turntable studio.
