ok.. I have a Sony Digital8 camera TRV740E,
a PC with plenty of grunt! 1 gig ram, a ton of disk space, and a
pentium4, 3 ghzt. Sony Vegas & DVD Architect, (plus preinstalled
"Arcsoft Showbiz" and Windows Movie Maker)
If I plug the video camera into the VCR, and view the home movie on
the tv.. I get as you'd expect, a ful screen, full quality view of all
that I'v recorded.
Now how do I do the same on the PC??
If I connect the camera to the pc, via the USB cable, and either try
"Showbiz" or Vegas 4, and capture the film, the quality is "not
good"! plus what about the screen size? and if I were to proceed
with it all and burn to a DVD - what am I going to get as a result?
I'm expecting to see something similar to what I see whan played on
the tv, is there some trick in sending the contents of the camcorder
to pc - and get the quality as You'd get on the tv? and when it's sent
to a dvd - and from there back to the tv.. am I going to have a small
"window" or full screen viewing ?
as you can tel I'm totally new to al this - so any tips tricks n
pointers will be well appreciated ~ thanks.
