ok, this sounds wierd. I've been using PowerDVD for a long time without
a problem. Recently however, I was going to watch a movie when I got
this Black rectangle covering up the screen. The sound was fine and
all, but the odd thing was that I could see the movie from the corners
that are being blocked by this black rectangle. Anybody else getting
this? I happen to kind of "fix" it by moving the hardware acceleration
tab in the Settings section. I am however wondering if someone has
found a permanent fix for this. I have WindowsXP Pro Sp 2, PowerDVD 5,
DirectX 9.0b

I used to get that if I left my capture program up while I
checked video files, with PowerDVD XP, on my hard drive.

Luck;
Ken
