How to create an ISO file from movie files ? |
|
|
I copied the contents of a movie DVD onto the computer's HD.

It doesn't work that way. To create your own DVD movie disc, you can't just
simply "copy" the contents from the original DVD.
Step 1 - Use DVD Decripter to remove region protection and copy the movie to
your hard drive
Step 2 - Use DVD Shrink to re-compress the data you copied from the original
DVD down to 4.7 GB in size
Step 3 - Use Nero to create a Video DVD and use the files created from step
2 to place in the Video folder

Hey thanks for your reply.
I used DVD2Xbox on my modified Xbox to copy the contents of
the movie DVD to the Xbox HD. I can watch the movie using XBMC
on the Xbox, and I can transfer the movies files to the computer's HD.
I'll try DVD Shrink, and post my results here. |

DVD Shrink 3.2 worked like a charm. Thanks for your info. |
