Anyone else seem to be burning more movies with errors since switching over?
Maybe it is just my imagination.

By any chance, does DVD Shrink now have Philips DVD Recorder compatibility
added? That is my only complaint about DVD Shrink - having to record the
full DVD when wanting DVD Shrink compatibility is a pain that should be
easily correctable (and has been reported here as so a number of versions
ago).

When using a Phillips DVD Recorder to record from TV or VHS, you cannot use
DVD Shrink for editing, unless you record the whole DVD instead of just the
time needed for the recording. For instance, when I was recording the
weekly Sopranos episodes, I could not just do a one hour recording, and
then use DVD Shrink to transfer it to my hard drive. If I wanted to burn
four of the episodes to a DVD, I would have to do about 4.5 hours of
recording for each one hour episode. It was stated long ago that other
software (I think DVD Decryptor was one) would do ripping with only
recording for one hour, and then leaving the other 3+ hours blank.

What does any of this have to do with the original post.
