DVDLab, TMPGEnc Author. They all bomb and I don't know why.
How do I convert a file that is in a non-standard resolution?

You need a good quality encoder like TMPGEnc's Express 3.0. I've used it
several times when using various video files with resolution sizes different
from the ones I'm editing on a DVD. Sometimes, the software program will
crash if the audio file format isn't right either. I like Express 3.0
because it allows you to adjust both the audio type, bitrate (constant or
variable) and output video file format as well as the resolution you need.
It also has mpeg tools that will allow you to multiplex separate audio and
video streams or demultiplex to separate the streams.
