Hi,

I've bought a cheap DivX/DVD player which is working fine except for one
thing, it doesn't support correctly the Zoom function while playing 2:1
sized DivX files.

It seems that whenever the zoom button is used, the movie is displayed in
full screen.
It is not possible to select for example 1.5 zoom factor...

Does anybody can suggest me any player which support correctly the zoom
function with DivX just like usually done for DVD?

Many thnks in advance for answering.

Giovanni.

You're right, some players (The Philips DVP642/37 for example) have
horrible ZOOM control. The LiteOn 2001 (and perhaps the rest of the
LiteOn product line) ZOOM control is as expected for DVDs (three
steps) and exotic for ISO. The LiteOn supports small increments +/-
individually in both axes. This is just superb control !!!

The flaw in the LiteOn is that ZOOM does not hold, if you do anything
else (FF, FR, chapter step for example), and it drops out all by
itself at the layer break ???
