I am using a TV card in my PC to capture TV programs and convert them to
Divx. I am currently doing it successfully capturing in Mpeg2 and converting
using VirtualdubMPEG2.
My TV card supports MJPEG and I understand that this gives a better initial
capture; but I can't get any of the audio codecs available to work when
converting using Virtualdub. The ones available are:
Indeo, IMAADPCM, PCM, Ogg, Microsoft ADPCM, ACELP.net, DSP Group Truespeech,
GSM 610, Microsoft G.723.1, CCITT A-law, CCITT u-law, and MPEG Layer-3
