Hi

I find the ogg format, under smaller bitrates, much better than the mp3
format.
So, I would like to use it as a sound file in my divx movies.

I have ripped a movie, converted AC3 into ogg, done everything necessary
with GKnot, loaded the ogg file as my audio file, but one thing I do not
get...what option should I pick under interleaving? VBR, CBR?

I have tried with cbr...can't hear sound
Also I have tried with VBR...can't hear the damn sound.

What the hell am I doing wrong?

Please, advise on this issue :)

You can't mux Ogg Vorbis into an AVI container, you need to use OGM or
Matroska. Doom9 has more information on how to do this.

If you use a hardware player be aware that you will probably not be
able to playback a movie with Ogg Vorbis as the audio format.

Lite-on will play Ogg Vorbis

Does it just support playback of Ogg Vorbis files or does it also
support playback of OGM/Matroska video files?

My KiSS DP-1000 would only play Ogg Vorbis files but not OGM/Matroska
:(
