Please, where is Gregg's RDH4 mirror? I couldn't find a link on
his site. I managed to download up to chapter 21 from Gregg's site
but now it seems to be overloaded and I really like to avoid heavy
traffic if possible.

Kind regards, Eike

I'm not the "mirror" you are looking for but I made a copy on my website
because a RAT asked for it sometime ago when Gregg blew up his
bandwidth. I asked Gregg but he never replied if I could do so, but
since some of you need it it's still available:
http://www.oldradioz.com/manuals/rdh4

Hope this helps,
Syl

Hi Syl,

I did and gave you the OK with bells and whistles. You never got my email?

Darn,

I swear I never got your email. I thought either you didn't received
both of my emails or you got mad at me for being a silicon guy...;o)

I'll leave it on my website for now if it can help;
a) relieve your bandwidth from stress
b) can be useful to the group

Syl

Thank you. Found it now - duh! But I don't really understand what

"the yellow-brick-road" is - an americanism? - America as
"the continent" not "The States" as I realize that you are in Canada.
Does it mean "the obvious trail"?
I should have gandered around your site more instead of just to have
a butcher's at it. ;-)

Besides: when I'm signalling I do it from two 6146B ... 4-1000A being
too big for my license. Using keyed filaments should avoid the nasty
clicks allright however :-D

Hi Eike,

Yes, exactly.

Sorry about that. Yves is right, it's from the old musical, "Wizard of Oz"
where the stars have to follow a road made of yellow brick to see the
wizard. The brick stood out very loud amongst everything else and because
of that, it "was hidden in plain sight".

I did not think that others may not have seen the movie or maybe the
translation out of english changed the saying :-(

Don't worry. I saw the movie once - decades ago - I was little.

Must have been black&white TV still.
I forgot - Oh well - Somewhere, over the mountains ...
Ain't no mountains here in the middle of South America ;-)
Thank you for your web-site and thanks to all those who made RDH4
available for download.

Oh the ducks are in front of my window, demanding their grub.
Have to go now.
Kind regards, Eike

Bah, if you're made of silicon, you are still my cousin ;-)

I can receive through that addy, but not TX for some reason. Can you send
me another email so I can reply with the email I know transmits (it uses
tube finals ;-))))

Come on; confess.

I would LOVE to see a Gothic/Punk rendition of the Wiz of Oz with Pink
Floyd toonage.
