Why will that help you. There are fake media codes on to much media
and grade b with the same media codes as grade a. All pointless.
Only way to get a good reliable supplier is find on eto begin with and
stick with them or go on others advice.

In the UK SVP is widely regarded as one of the best suppliers in the game.

As well as SVP being one of the best UK suppliers, below is a description
of the disc to clarify why I'm asking ...

So if anyone has bought these and has media codes can the post.

Cheers..

{DV 3149} Datawrite Premium Inkjet Printable (4x) DVD-R in Spindle Tubs
of 25.

Datawrite are never slow to take an opportunity to bring a new product to
the public.

Over the Summer, the demand for DVDR discs is lower than it is during the
Winter. The manufacturers in the far east find it harder to sell their
DVDR and sometimes they find they simply have more product than they can
find buyers for. This situation is called "Oversupply".

Our friends at Datasafe Media (the parent company of Datawrite) have been
knocking on the doors of manufacturers asking if they can buy their
Oversupply discs. They have bought Oversupply discs that should have been
destined for a number of high quality names such as Verbatim and TDK.

The quality of these discs will be very high, but the prices are very
low, a recipe that we know our customers like:)

The discs themselves are unbranded with a white inkjet printable top
surface and come in packs of 25. Each pack is professionally packaged in
cakeboxes with Datawrite branding on the packaging.

Suggested for use on the following hardware: Pioneer 103/A03, Pioneer
104/A04, Pioneer 105/A05, Pioneer 106/A06, Pioneer 107/A07, Pioneer 108,
Panasonic E20, E30, E50, E100, HS2, Sony DVD+/-R drives,Plextor DVD+/-R
drives, Sony PS2, X-Box, NEC ND 1300/2500/2510/3500, Liteon DVD+/-R
drives, LG DVD+/-R drives and most other DVD-R writers and modern DVD
players.

If they are really TYG01 DVD-R 4X they wil burn at 8X on the pioneer
108 drives with pioneer firmware. If they are another maker with fake
codes then they only burn at 4x.

The TYG02 discs I have 4.489Gb and let me burn at 12x on pioneer 108
drive.

Tdk dropped ritek and has moved to yuden media due to faulty discs by
ritek. Ritek make ricoh and ridisc is one of Riteks own brands.

Ritek in recent times have had problems with their media. They are
renaming from ridata to ridiac and now extreme because of all the bad
press on ritek or ridata.

Pioneer stopped recomending ritek g04/g05 for their burners due to
failures in their own testing. Ritek have gone and done a princo.
Both had good media then they go and change things to make it cheaper
and then people start to complain and then names start to get re named
to something else.

Real TY 4X will burn at 8x and real ty 8x will burn at 12x.
Its the only way to tell andgo on what others experience with media.
Only problem is media brands can change their suppliers of media so
brands can go from good to bad overnight.
