Hi,

I'm having problems trying to create a DVD. I have an .avi file that I
converted using Cucusoft, and then made it into .vob files with
Cucusoft as
well. I'm using Nero VisionExpress2 ver. 2.1.2.12. I choose "DVD"
from the
top menu, choose "Burn DVD-Video Files" from the choices, load my .vob
files, and try to burn, but it keeps giving me the error messages that
I copied from my log below ("Unknown CDR error", "all writers idle,
stopping conversion", "conversion idle, stopping reader", "Burn
process failed at 1x"). I even tried burning to hard disk first. I
have been trying to burn at 2x, then at 1x speed, have no other
programs running, no screensaver, etc., and have plenty of disk space
as well. I checked dvdrhelp.com, and made sure that my Toshiba
SD-R5112 works with DVD-R. I've burned .mpg files to view on the
computer, and even one very small .vob file, but can't do a larger
file. Do I need more memory? Any ideas on what I can do next? Thanks!
