Hi:
I would like recommendations on a high quality low noise mic preamp. What
should I be looking at?
TIA

For live sound? You should be looking at something rugged, reliable, |
easy to carry, quick to set up. Preamp noise is not usually a
consideration on a live stage. In my opinion, it is rarely useful to
have an outboard preamp on a live rig, except maybe on the lead vocal
"money" channel. For that, I like the Drawmer MX-60, but don't apply
the tricky stuff to the monitor channel.
For recording? Wrong newsgroup. Try rec.audio.pro.
