Hi,

I have a movie file with the following output from AVIcodec:

1.37 GB, 1704 Kbps, 23.976 fps, 640*272 (2.21:1), XVID = XVID Mpeg-4

I want to turn it into a DVD, and in the process I am trying to use TMGEnc
Plus to convert the file. However, I am not able to keep the aspect ratio.
I want the DVD to keep it's "widescreen" format with a black field on top
and bottom when played in a DVD player on a normal TV. When I look at the
preview in TMPGEnc the movie is squished to fit the TV screen. How do I
set TMPGEnc Plus to keep the original aspect ratio? I do not want to spend
hours on the conversion if the result is a squished movie.

I am a newbie when it comes to these things, but wold like to learn, so
bear with me. TIA for help.

import your file - then on next page - clip frame - then - arrange setting -
and choose what you want.
have fun.
