Hi
I have a Nikon D100 camera that I use with white balance set to auto.
This gives me great results without any adjustments
on screen,
my Epson photo 870 ink jet printer,
and on my HiTi color sub-dye printer on a different computer.

However my local "professional" Agfa printer is giving me lifeless prints
with a horrible heavy yellow cast.

Can you explain this? How come I get it right on printers without any
adjustment and the "professionals" are having so much trouble trying to get
it right?

Thanks
J

Are you talking about a local lab? What is an "Agfa" printer?

Just because they charge you for the service does not mean they meet
"professional standards." Some of these shops have great equipment, but man
that equpment with inexperienced staff. There could be a problem with their
machine, or they could simply be botching their color
profiles/color-matching.
