VBR audio synch, and Nerovision |
|
|
I just spent a couple of days capturing an entire video collection onto
my hard drive so that I could burn them onto DVD. I thought I was
saving myself time by capturing them at preset DVD quality with ATI TV,
but now I think the VBR is causing problems. When I try try to use
Nerovision, the pitch is set really low (regular speed, but really low).
I tried to de-multiplex and lay the audio track down separately, and
that fixed the pitch, but the sound goes out of synch in some parts. Is
there something I can do now - some way to change the clips from VBR to
CBR, or another burning program I can use that doesn't force a
re-transcoding like Nero does?

Try TMPGEnc DVD Author or DVDLab. Neither will re-encode your video
(they don't even have that capability). |

Thanks alot. TMPGEnc DVD Author worked perfectly (DVDlab was a bit too
powerful, and I didn't have time to figure it out...).
