Hello i pwuld like to know the recording life of Dvd-ram. I am planning to get a
recorder soon and as i wil be using it mainly because of the recording to
dvd-ram i want to know if it will be cost effective to use that format. Thanks.

100,000 rewrites I believe. It beats all the rest by miles.

Wow thanks! Yes at 100,000 rewrites it must really be a clear winner. Also can
you suggest a good DVD-RAM recorder? I saw that the panasonic DMR E20 for
examples is at aorund $ 1500 !!! At this price i'd better get a hard drive
recorder! or do you know any good model but at amuch cheaper price?

Is the JVC DRM-1SL (£320 Amazon UK) any good to you, I can't find it on U.S.
sites so perhaps it's a different model no? A few user reviews at
