I realize the question I am about to ask will prolly knock you off your chair laughing in the floor. But I know NOTHING about camcorders so here goes (no drinking of liquids while reading this post in order to protect your keyboard)

I have a Canon ZR85 and it uses the little mini tapes. I have borrowed this camcorder from my boyfriend who has never used it and is leaving it up to me to figure all this out and teach him... what I want to do it transfer the video from the little tapes to my puter in order to burn them to a DVD.

I have DVD burning program and a DVD burner... I am just trying to figure out how to transer from from the cam to the puter. The USB cable that came with did not do the trick!

ANY help is appreciated!!!!!!!!
