As stated above, my DVD Player (Goodmans GVD150) will not play DVD's anymore. When I put one in the player its grinds for a few minutes then gives the message 'No Disc'.

However it will still accept CD's and will play those, although the sound quality isint great.

I have cleaned the player with a CD/DVD cleaner disc but it hasnt made any difference.

Is it time to purchase another DVD Player, this one is only 2 years old and was cheap, or is there something I can do to it.

Sounds like the DVD laser is dead or out of line which is why CD's still
work. Problem is, cheap players like that are meant to be disposeable, so
next time spend a little more for a better quality player.
