cubase se on mac issue |

I recently imported protools tracks into Cubase SE on my powerbook. Then I spent hours moving tracks around (there were lots of punch-ins routed to separate tracks). I finally got all the tracks lined up and did a mix. A couple weeks later I went back to add more bass (it dropped out before the outro) and Cubase would not load the audio files. The files were in the pool but when I tried to open them or import them I get:
Error: Invalid or Unsupported File
And also "Unable to create record"
Any ideas? The files were originally recorded as 32 bit files, and SE only supports 16 and 24 bit, but why would it be ok for a while?
