im a multimedia student currently trying to put a very small DVD together
problem im having is that the quality that i want to output seems to be to high for adobe encore or other applications to write without buffer problems

(7mbper/sec full quality with 5.1 surround dolby sound)

im having to reduce this down to 2mbper/sec with wav sound for the buffer to cope however im using a decent new 16x speed DVDrw drive and i have over a GIG of ram (basically my comp is an after effects editing platform)

can anybody help with this problem is it something simple like increasing my buffer size and if so how is this done

Please please please take pity on the young student
