What's new about it? It has been around a while. When I had to make the
decision to get a sensor cleaning outfit, I gave the brushes careful
consideration. I ended up getting PEC's Sensor Swabs, skipping the whole brush
step.
If you have to touch the covering of the sensor, it's intimidating anyway, and
given the cost of replacement should be. If you're on medication, sneezing,
shaking, twitchy or cold enough to shiver, set the job aside for another time.
Even the sensor brushes can cause problems.
Oh. The reason I didn't get the brushes? They won't remove everything, and I do
not like that Q Tip style swab with their cleaning fluid. Sensor Swabs get it
all in one swipe.
I just wish all the blasted things were a wee bit cheaper.
