I own a Panasonic DMR-E80 DVD recorder and have problems with the quality of the recordings as well as the compatibility with other DVD players. I see these “horrible macro blocs” and gets jittery and scrambled. I only use DVD-R media (Verbatim, Maxell).

Does anyone know of any reason why this happens or how can I reslolve it?
