dive is only 2 weeks old. it burned ok for 5 discs now nothing.

Were the first 5 discs any different (even if it was only a different
package of the same brand) from the subsequent discs?
Check the manufacturer's website to see if there is a newer firmware
revision for your drive. If there is, then try it. I once had a
similar problem with a Pioneer drive, and a firmware upgrade fixed it. |
