The subject is the question....I was looking at a Plextor 716A and if I'm
reading the specs correctly it is only listing burn speeds for +R media.
Is -R not dual layer capable?

-R is dual layer capable. Maybe that Plextor 716A can't do it but a Pioneer
DVR-610 can.
