Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving / And
revolving at 900 miles an hour / That's orbiting at 19 miles a second,
so it's reckoned, / A sun that is the source of all our power. / The
sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see, / Are moving at a
million miles a day / In an outer spiral arm, at 40,000 miles an hour,
/ Of the galaxy we call the Milky Way. |

Not sure - we are swapping our DM2000 for the M7CL, not sure if directly
through Yam or with the original installers. |

Is that good as yamaha says???
I've been starting to calculate funds to buy one for the last couple fo |
weeks. I've used one say a dozen times now. Its a agreat bit of kit.
Suited to FOH or monitors or a mix.
Advantages to monitors are 4 band para on outputs, flex 15 graphics
giving a total of 16 graphics. (anyone who is wondering. Flex 15 uses 1 31
band graphics and splits it into 2 channels. This means that each channel
gets 15 bands to adjust (can be the same or different). You really
shoujdln't be adjusting any more than that anywa (especially with your 4
band para on the outs)
Other advantages for monitors are the "super auxes", individual channels
can be sent to each matrix mix. effectivly this gives you an extra 8 auxes
with the capapbility of adding a group or LR mix etc aswell or instead.
FOH advantages are, its ridiculously compact. everythings on board. you'll
never run out of stuff. its about 50kg or so free standing.
Different user access levels. usb keys with individual data stored on it
gives limited acess for each user. theres also a guest setting (ideal for
install for the guys who use a CD twice a week) and an admin level.
Other cool bits, little pictures for track listings aswell as the name.
Touch screen obviously, i so miss that when using the pm5d.
ability to group channels (pair.....but with any other channel, unlike the
pm5d where its horizontal odd even (1 and 2 7 and 8) or vertical 1 and
25etc)
Things i dont like:
Couple of pm5d shortcuts are not there (or are different. it would help to
make thigns universal.... press and hold select for matrix etc etc.)
Screen position. makes for a big flightcase. (although its a small price to
payto relieve the truck space for 30u of outboard.
Anything specific you want to know?
