Depends on what the Sony DVD recorder actually does. Some of these
consumer recorders do not always record in the standard DVD-video
format, unless you specifically set it up to do so. But if you use a
common DVD mastering program and burn your video DVD's using a computer,
(e.g. Nero Ultra for instance), then the resulting DVD conforms to
standards and can be replicated by any professional replication facility.
You would need additional software if you wish to encrypt the DVD so
that it cannot be easily copied by anyone. |
