I have paint Shop pro 6.0

And for some reason, when I save as JPEG, the image in the JPEG is darker
than the carefully-adjusted image in the PSP file! This did not used to
happen, but I'm at a loss to know why (I haven't changed machine or op
system since I last used the product ....

Windows XP

Any ideas? - this does not happen with the copy of Photoshop Elements that I
have recently acquired, but I don't want to switch products, nor pay-out for
an upgrade to PSP - and then another one, and then another one et al

Check whether PSP is using a monitor profile or an internal monitor
gamma adjustment.

I have paint shop pro X and change from adobe found it too difficult
had no problem with paint shop, i think it must be your disc. Laughing Exclamation
