Hi,

I am looking for a freeware that would allow me to select 3 files to
print, designate them as 4 x 6 prints, lay them out to fit on a 8.5 x
11 sheet, and control the amount of crop. Windows XP does the first two
but doesn't allow to control the amount of crop. I use Gimp to edit
pics, but didn't find an easy way to print them from Gimp. I do have MS
Publisher, but it's a PITA to have to import & resize files every time.
Thanks !

Did any software come with your printer?

Both Canon and Epson bundle software (usually called Easy Photo Print or
similar) with their printers. You may be able to download this from
their website. While they may not be able to crop, they will allow
layouts of 2,4,8,16 and 48 prints per page.

BTW Does the US still use the old-fashioned 8.5x11in paper? They still
haven't caught up with the modern A and B sized papers?
I suppose the binders still use 3 rings too?
