hello all,
we just got a dvr with a usb port on the front of it. can this somehow
be used to copy recordings to dvd's?

If its a cable company DVR, the chances of the usb port actually being

active is pretty slim as they are usually disabled. But, you didnt list the
make/model of the dvr or your cable company and area where you live so noone
could give you any indication if it would work or not..
