Anyone know why DVD Architect 3.0c would render the second half of a
51-minute video mixed with still photo's & video clips to cause about 50%
into it, it starts massively interlace flickering the video during any
crossfade transistions and during all of any video clips thereafter?
Everything prior video, stills, etc.. works perfectly on the first 50% of
the VOB.

I can watch the rendered WMV [720x480p video file w/DD5.1 Full Screen (not
letterboxed)] that I created in Vegas 6.0c just fine with Windows Media
Player. But it if I preview the video file with the "BEST" professional
quality video setting in the preview current or preview project screen, it
replicates this problem for the most part, but if I downgrade to setting to
"HIGH" on the playback quality the problem goes away, but I dont have the
option to set "HIGH" when authoring the final DVD VOB files, it appears to
always use "BEST" for its final renderer setting regardless of compression
setting I've set when mastering the final disc.

AMD64 3500+ CPU
1Gig DDR RAM
SATA 200Gig 8meg Cache 7200rpm

I've rendered fine up to now and previews using "BEST" were fine too, but
all of the suddent all my finalizations of the same movie I've created
[always at the same point -- 50% into the playback timeline of the movie it
begins to transitioning from a video clip to a still picture, where the
video fades to black and the a transition from a from 0% to 100% screen zoom
to a still photo from center screen it will then keep doing this showing of
every-other-line [interlacing] when transitioning or any video clips played
for the remainder of the length of the DVD movie being played]. The movie
and stills are clips and photo's from a recent family trip to disneyland and
the audio clips are privately owned music selections of mine ripped into PCM
WAVE format, none of the audio is crossfaded [they all roll-off prior to new
music played], so I can't figure out what would cause the flicker and
every-other-line effect that's occurring 50% through playback of it. I've
tried setting compression to least amount as possible [4.8g on a 4.7g
single-layer DVD-R] and no change. Compression default bitrate @ 5.050 is
what I began with and set the video to use the default bitrate setting.

The only thing I can think of it that its SOMETHING embedded in the rendered
WMV file that was created in Vegas 6.0c that Windows Media Player ignores or
doesn't see, whereas DVD Architect does, but I hate to remaster it again
because rendering takes all day to create the WMV file, then remaster the
DVD too [which has 2 menu selections [play video] & [photo collection] and
one 20second intro video clip. [play video] plays the movie obviously and
[photo collection] is just a simple photo compliation.

I hope I'm explaining my situation clearly enough that some advanced users
out there can offer some suggestions.

Thanks
