Hi,
I have a PCTV Pinnacle 550 build 110. tuner card in my pc. When I record
say an hour series off the TV onto my HD I beleive it is in MPEG shows as a
movie clip windows media player and maybe 2 gig in size. What do I use to
compress to say a 350 meg avi file, either for watching later, keeping or
sharing.

I have converted and encoded many files avi/mpeg files to DVD, but how do I
go the other way.
