I recorded a few tapes in HD and should "degrade" these to standard
definition to be able edit these combined with other material in
standard definition and using standard technology. Anybody knows how
can this be done?

You got a HD video recorder ??? SVHS i thinkt hey cal it.

Why would you want to change it to crappy vision. Its HD man keep it.
