Hello,

Can anyone help I have an panasonic dmr-e100h and when I burn dvd-r
from hard drive to dvd and try to play them on any other dvd player or
computer it doesn' work.

Did you finalize the disk?

Also, make sure that your other player is capable of playing dvd-r
(as distinguished from dvd+r). Most recent players do both; older
ones don't necessarily.

what does finalize mean ?, i've tried it in other dvd players capable
of reading dvd-r, and when i plat it back on the panasonic it reads ok

what does finalize mean ?, i've tried it in other dvd players capable
of reading dvd-r, and when i plat it back on the panasonic it reads ok

Discs done on home recorders have to be finalized
before they will play on anything else. If your
remote is like my Panny one hit Functions, look
for a screen entry like Disc Settings and from
there you should be able to enter a name for the
disc and finalize it.

Thanks for the tip, i've done it and now i tried to run the dvd on my
computer and all it shows are files.BUP, IFO and VOB what now ?

You have to have some type of DVD playback software like PowerDVD 6 to play

back a movie on your PC
