large format negatives |
|
|
Hi,
I've just purchased an HP scanner that scans 35 mm negatives. However, I
have a large number of larger format negatives (50 to 70 years old) that I'd
like to scan. Is anyone aware of a reasonably priced piece of equipment
that would be suitable?
TIA
Shirley

You could/can obtain an Epson flat bed, the current 4990 scans up to 8x10
negatives.

Yep. I really don't look forward to the day mine stops working. Great
software, too.
OP - most good flatbed scanners have negative carriers to allow
transparency/negative scans. What is important at the moment is to determine
the size of your negatives. Some oldies are not handled by the 6x*cm, 35mm,
4x5 carriers supplied. |

The company was training to lose. They quit film, too. And chemistry. They
are as good as dead. |

| Sounds like it might fit the bill. |
