If you mean removing part of the audio and video,
like the commercials, VideoReDo does that easily.
If you mean "Removing" just some text that is written
on top of your video and leaving the video and audio
as it was, then VideoReDo can't do that.
VideoReDo can read the .vob files in your VIDEO_TS
folder that contain the MPEG video data. Not the
VIDEO_TS.VOB or the real small VTS .vob files, that
contain the menu video objects.
The help files/section describe how to use and configure
the controls. Basically, move the sliders, arrow buttons, the
arrow keys or your mouse wheel to the frame you want to
mark as the start of a cut or segment the click on the "Sel.
Start" button. Then you move to the last frame you want
and click on the "Sel. End" button.
Then, if you are using the "Cut Mode" as I do, you can
remove what's between the "start" and "end" marks by
clicking on the "Cut Selection" button. Or, use the "Trim
Unselected" button to remove everything except what's
between the "start" and "end". When you click on one of
those buttons, the cuts will appear in the "Cut List" box on
the right.
You can repeat the above as often as you like, adding
more cuts to the "Cut List" box. Once you have all the
cuts you want on the list, click on the "Save As..."
button. Then name your file and select its format ( this
should be .mpg, unless your author program needs ES
streams {.mpv & .mpa} ).
Luck;
