There is a way to convert video to make it acceptable to the Replay
(maybe someone here has a link). It is complicated. You might find it
easier to create a DVD-RW and play that instead of going through the
Replay.

That's what I do when I get some video from the internet (DVD-R for
stuff to keep and DVD-RW for temporary stuff).

True... but my thinking was that i would just be easier to convert and

move to the folder that DVarchive serves downloaded files from... I'm
going to play with this tonight... have a feeling Quicktime pro may be
the answer.

A TXT attachment is often a sign that someone is trying to spread
malware (consider the Windows lying "hide file extensions" option).

A .txt extention is most often a sign of a TEXT file.

Consider that even today, more than half the users out there will open
anything, even plainly marked executables.

Just for the fun of it I went the 1st download step of download for a
file I knew contaimned a virus (The first step is where my Mail host
scans it. I have two more steps before my computer asks me what to do
with it.

Took me nearly five minutes to get to the point where I could tell the
mail host: No, don't bother sending it to my computer. send it to
digital <theological place of eternal punishment> instead.
(Acknowledging alarm screens)

I do get E-mails with Txt attachments that are genuine... However I tend
to open those attachments with a program that is a read only file reader

That sounds true. MS should know that, so it makes their choice of
defaults ("hide file extensions" is ON in every known version of
Windows) even worse.
