When I view videos from a web page they used to be saved in my temp internet
file folder. Some web sites wont allow you to download or "save as", so I
would navigate to the temp internet folder and save a copy if I like a
particular video. Now the files are not being saved to that folder. I tried
a search for all different media types on my hard drive and can't find these
files. They have to be cached somewhere.
Any suggestions?

If they are streamed correctly, they will not be in the temporary internet
files folder. If they are streamed incorrectly, they probably will be.

I'm missing something. The videos are not cached on my system? Why then when
I return to a video that I have been to before, the video plays instantly,
(because it is cached?) As opposed to a new video that I haven't viewed ,
which takes a while to load.
Every video on the web streams?

Well, I cleaned my cache and now the video files are being cached again. I
should have tried that in the first place ;-)
Thanks for your suggestions Cary.
