Hi. about a while ago i posted that i cant view movies and I think it was
because i deleted intel graphics from my computer by accident, but now when i
try to reinstall, it says the version im installing is older than the one i
currently have on my computer. Also, someone said that my built-in graphics
sub-system may not b up to task. If anyone knows the reason why i can't watch
movies or any other animated data please help me. Thanx

An integrated graphics card may not cut it when it comes to gaming, but it
would have to be a very low spec to disable viewing of most videos.

I would suggest the reason you cannot view movies is because of a software
issue. Either you do not have the correct codecs on your PC for the
compressed AVI you wish to view or you do not have the correct software
(Quicktime for MOV files and RealPlayer for RM files)....

If you're trying to view a DVD or an MPEG2 file, then you will need DVD
decoding software installed on your PC... either WinDVD or PowerDVD.

For more assistance, we'd need more info.

To see whether or not your problem is CODEC related, download and
install GSPOT, then run it against some of your files. It will tell you
the CODECs these files require. Then it is "simply" a matter of knowing
whether or not you have the required CODECs. If not, then you will have
to locate and install them.
