Is there a plug-in or anything to allow Sony's DVD Architect 3.0 to import
an XviD encoded AVI file? Seems odd that I can render with the XviD codec
in Sony's Vegas 6.0c, but can't import it into their DVD Authoring Software.

Use Vegas to encode the file as an mpeg-2 stream and you're all set.
The other option is to buy one of the many models of DVD players that handle
formats like XviD and DivX.
